temperature effect

I notice changes in velocity after about 20 below F. At 40 below there is a real drop. I do all my load testing at about 50 to 35 deg F. I started using Retumbo, it made a difference. The POI does not deviate as much.

I'm shooting a 25-06 when out at those temps.

Could it be possible that the temp change didn't affect the drop because it was offset by a lower pressure or lower humidity you had on that day?

That is a possibility as I do not have a weather station yet, hopefully Santa will bring me one this year lol. I honestly didn't even think of that, thereby proving even more my inexperience and why I'm walking shots in instead of first shot connections like most of you are. Once again thanks
