The EP5 glass is sourced from Japan. But actual scope is made in China. They use the same manufacture for all their scopes.
Ok.-could you tell me who m awesome their scopes?

No idea. I tried looking it up with no results. The China info is from the Arken marketing director interview with cyclops on YouTube.
I have never been a big Vortex guy either until I tried the Razor LHT. I have the 3-15 and it has been totally reliable so far and very clear and bright glass and also made in Japan. I believe its only around 20oz and can still be found for $1k at Liberty Optics.

I watched an Arken you tube video..And if Im not mistaken they said the EP versions are made in Japan..The SH models are made in China.

Ep4 and ep5 have glass imported from Japan.
