I know, it shoots really well for a mountain rifle barrel and 8x scope!

I bought it new in 2003 I believe. It is a satin blued finish. Wood stock with black caps. Jeweled bolt. Factory trigger. Approximate round count is less than 200 rounds. Leupold rings and bases.

I would take pictures if someone were seriously interested or I decide to sell.
It is a great rifle and I'd probably regret sell. LOL

They go for a lot of $$ on Gun Broker without scopes.
I waited a long time till I was able to get one I could afford.
I converted a second one with parts.

Any idea where Id be able to find a factory 700 DM (short action) action? I have a mountain DM stock and magazine. Id like to get a custom barrel I'm just having trouble finding an action. Obviously it's be easier just buying the gun itself but they are hard to find in short action.

You would probably be better off buying a Mac Bros action. Remingtons are going for too much money anymore to make them with it for a custom build.

I have a Remington 700 Mountain Rifle with factory Detachable Mag chambered in 7mm-08 with a Leupold VX-III 2.5-8x36 that I am considering selling.

Curious what a good price would be to list it before I decide if I want to sell or not.
