Never used 4895
Depends on load density but I've accidentally done it a long time ago.

I use Varget up to 45 also without problems but begins to crunch a tad.
 
Yeah but 46 grains of H4895 shouldn't be very compressed, if at all, should it? I run 45 grains of Varget with a 178 Amax and it's not compressed.
Every powder is shaped differently looking at my Accurate 2560 and then the H4895 if I had each sitting next to each other at 40grs the h4895 would be physically larger. The granular sizes are different. Its the same concept of what weights more? 1 pound of steel or 1 pound of feathers, well both weigh the same but it takes a different amount of each.
 
I have a 35 Remington round that looks just like this. Will pull it one of these days, just don't shoot .35 much anymore. Culprit: it was the first round I made with new dies and had my seating die screwed in too far when I went to crimp. Rather than crimping tighter, the case buckled at the neck-shoulder junction. Another cause would be a piece of brass that was too long, hitting the crimper in the die.

Just a possibility and lesson from my mistake years ago.
 
select your components based on others best results. Then, set up a "ladder shoot" with 5 of each load variation. IE, i loaded ten different loads changing only the measured grains of powder using electronic scale. Fire in sequence, 1-10, one round of each at separate bullseyes. That's a total of 50 rounds. Five rounds of each load at the same bullseyes. By firing them one at a time into each target, you reduce variables of fatigue, wind, shooting position, barrel temperature and a host of others. I did this with a .204 Ruger prairie dog rifle and my best loading was 5 shots in .52 inches at 100 yards.
 
L 🤣 L! I don't have a dedicated coyote rifle or hunt strictly for coyotes, or try to save the pelts, but I've had plenty of instances during antelope and deer hunts that turned into one, both cases at the Lane Ranch BMA in Cascade.

That bottom photo is what truly sold me on the .270AI, looks like it pulled the pin before it swallowed a grenade. What do you mean, you don't own a ".22 GIBBS" for coyote hunting?? I thought that you would have at least "one" designated coyote rig. But again they probably do not make a .22 GIBBS.

I'm very aware of this but H4895 and Varget are very similar in shape/size. I'm also very aware of 2460, Varget and H4895 as I use or have used all of them. I've never used Accurate "2468" or "2560" as I don't believe this is even powder that's made. I'm also very aware of volume differences between feathers and steel. All or most of the Hodgdon Extreme extruded powders are very similar in size with the exception of H4831SC. My comment was based on the case volume for powder used and if it was compressed or not. I'll bow out now as I don't need a lesson on Feathers vs Steel volume characteristics.

Possibly this....

The die has crushed the case. Look and see it's shorter than the others now. i'd guess a die is set too far in.
I thought the same, maybe the resizing die? The second case from the right "Hornady I reloaded" and the case all the way to the left both show signs also of a crimp remaining from the fired brass that's being reloaded.

Could be the problem.
After zooming in on all loaded and unloaded cases… I can now see the shoulder crush bulge and the case OAL has been reduced.
 
When searching for a new load I'LL get a few different manuals or reports and review them all, then make my decision. Just take your time its not a speed race. Just do it the same way each and every time. GOOD LUCK
