Reloader 26 in 6.5 creedmoor

Sounds good to me. What twist barrel do you have? Berger advertizes 1 in 8 minimum. What's the overall length for those bullets? I've seen some numbers but I like to see what they actually measure.

After HBN coating mine, they range from 1.504" to 1.508". They are a touch shorter after tumbling in media, but not a ton.

I just got some 156 Bergers in. What load range would y'all try? Thinking about 45.5-47. 26" heavy Palma bartlein and Nucleus action.
I worked up to 49 grains, saw pressure around 48-48.5 in my load work up. Your range sounds good, you may end up goung slightly higher depending on what brass you use, your gun, etc.

Hornady brass has the most capacity and should give he most velocity. I know it sucks but the extra capacity helps.
Especially when loading the heavies with a slow powder like RL26. I don't even get crunching at 48.0 grns. I did another round starting with new brass between 45-48 grns and got the same results as using fire formed brass. Oddly 47.0 grns gives me the exact same velocity as the load I shot a week ago. I think there is a good wide node right around there. Clocking 2766 at 20 feet from chrono. My 140 Berger Hybrid Target Load shows 2769. ?

Getting 2925 with 140 Berger EH with 46.3 gr RL26 in Lapua brass.
I've had 3 or 4 lots of RL26 now. It has never clocked the same. Add that to the fact it seems pretty temp sensitive and I get some crazy wide swings.
Shot this load at 85 degrees for the numbers above. Might get used for and antelope hunt where temps with more than likely hover around 95% in the afternoon. That should be exciting!

I noticed with mine, once you get past about 47.4, the velocity jumps dramatically. I'm talking from 2790 to 2890 and then levels off again with 10-20 fps difference. Cratering primers at 47.8-48. No ejector marks though.

Barrel length?

Using the Berger 140 Elite Hunter bullet in Lapua SRP brass and CCI 450s I am getting 2,821 ft/sec with 46.5gr RE26 and 2,861 ft/sec with 47.0gr RE26.
I'm shooting a 26" Browning HC rifle.

Both charges shoot right at 2" at 400yds, providing that I'm not having a bad day.

* If it makes any difference, it was about 90 deg on the afternoon that I recorded those velocities.

Using 46.5 gr of RL26 with a 124gr Hammer hunter out of my 22" barrel produced ~3000 fps with no pressure signs.

Henry Long ranger 6.5
starline brass
CCI250 primers
46.5 gr RL26
124gr HH loaded at 2.860

as for accuracy, they shoot better than I can so I am not the best judge of that.

FWIW - I tried 47.0 RE26 under the 124 Hammer bullet and got 2,931 ft/sec from the 26" bbl. 3 shots went into 1.95" at 400yds but the 4th round opened the group to 3.2".

I should have tried this load again but had moved to Varget and had consistently good results.

Has anyone shot the 124 Hammers with heavier charges of RE26 ( >47.0) in the 6.5 Creed? 47.0 RE26 under the 140 cup & core bullets is no problem. I would be very interested to know the velocity achievable with the 124 Hammers, assuming safe pressure limits.

I hit pressure at 47.5 gr, but my setup seems to hit pressure ~1 gr faster than most from what I can see compared to the books so far.
