Hmmmm. Might need to make a phone call or email contact us. Sucks when a new toy is delivered on Saturday! Mine works w/ no issues. Maybe someone else has a solution.

Go to the link I sent then the manual link. Page 12 I think. I'm bad about rushing thru things too.

Go to section 5-2 of the manual and page 14 walks you through setting up the (mode) counting units Cycle through using the sample key until GN is displayed, if this is the same as your manual http://www.scalemanuals.com/andmanuals/fx-i-series-manual.pdf

It's not very intuitive, but it is a very cool scale.

Thanks, I did that and it'll display only 5 modes.

Just my luck....it should have 14 weighing modes, mine has 5. I guess a phone call is in order Monday.
BTW I did find the scale factory reset section, but it's still the same results. I quit.

Kinda sucks when you make a step up and get a dud. We've all been there though. Must of been built on Friday. They are great scales though.

Have you tried Initializing the Balance as set out in section 9-2 on page 35? It returns several parameters to factory settings including the Function Table.

Is this the way it's supposed to work? when you find out What the deal is, please let us know. I'm really interested in this scale and eventually adding the auto trickler
