Question about Leupold scopes with the ZL2 dials

How do you go about zeroing the elevation on these? Do you have to take the dial off, in order to get dialed in, if you need to go past where the zero stop, stops? Is there some way to get around that?

Just loosen the 3 small Allen set screw that hold the cap on then remove the cap and adjust the elevation down using a coin or simalar. Put the cap back on and your done
