Quest for a Mile- 300 Win Mag

I like enjoy the videos from the combo above. I'm on this quest with my 300 RUM. More efficient calibers out there, I understand, but this is what creates the challenge. Seeing how far this equipment will take me.

I sold my 300 win mag which was one of the most accurate guns I ever owned when I went broke in college, but my buddy has a killer Surgeon XL 1581 in a KMW Sentinel Stock and 28" tube that he wants to sell me that I now want to go pickup to make a 1760 video here in Oklahoma at Fouled Bore.

I still have all the brass, bullets, and 230 grain pills on the shelf. : ) We used to shoot a 24x24 out to 1350 and then we went to a 24Wx36"H counterweighted target that would move smoothly when struck for 1500-1800 (at 1000 we had 10-15").Targets and stands are at my pop's garage on the way to the range...
Fouled Bore is right up the road from me.
