I've decided to give hammer bullets a try in my 7mm rem mag and have 200 130 ah's on the way. I have between 10 and 15 lbs each of H4831 and 7828 on hand here but not much else. Just wondering if those will both be too slow for the 130ah and I should pick up something else to try. Gun is an Abolt II stainless stalker with 26" barrel. Nothing at all listed in the load data on the Hammer website so if anyone here has experience with this combo I would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks.

Both of those will work along with 4064 & 4350. H1000 will work but it's a compressed load & runs 60,000 pressure.

Doesnt hurt to use what you have and make it work, but H4350 is an option that fairly available. With H4350 Im getting 3200fps with a 140AH in my 280ai, a friend is getting 3350 in his 7RM with the 133HHT. Hammers are awesome performing bullets your gonna love them.

Thanks for that, I see there's 3 loads listed on that spreadsheet for the130ah-7rm using H4831SC, H100V, and ramshot hunter. The H100V and ramshot hunter both show about 100 fps more velocity than the H4831 so they may be a good place to start. From the charts I can find they both fall between 4350 and H4831 for burn rate. Probably a good idea to post over there as well.

Main reason I am asking now is I live in a fairly remote area, and only get out a couple times a year where I'd have the opportunity to pick up components. We will be heading south here in about 3 weeks for our spring supply trip, so if I'm going to need powder I don't have that will be the time to buy it, assuming I can find what I'm looking for.

If you can hit at least 3300fps with the powder you have on hand Id call it good. Thats my guess you should be able to hit at least that with the 130AH.
If you feel you need more velocity than that then maybe buy some different powder, note shipping+hazmat fee isnt that bad compared to traveling for it.

None of the courier companies serve the area I live in, post office is our only option and they won't ship gunpowder so ordering it in is not an option.
In that case I would definitely run a pressure ladder and find out what velocity you can get with your powder on hand, before your road trip.
