Thought you folks would like to see this, given all the "WARNING" about Norma Whitetail being "overpressure"!

I should mention that the hole showing in the photos is the exit hole. The entry hole, just behind the shoulder looks about like most entry holes. I'm more accustomed to using larger calibers, so it was a pleasant experience for me to see this buck go down after only about 15 yards of run and then a drunken circle and crash with white showing through the tall grass.

Probably not my pick for larger, tougher critters; but appears to do nicely on whitetail.

I specifically bought the 6.5 Creedmoor Norma Whitetail ammo to see if all the claims were across the board. Other than accuracy, I see no reason not to try it. My rifle didn't particularly like it.

Before and after pictures of the brass and primers. The Labradar results, I think the 2 missed rounds were because I let the unit go to sleep, and then the accuracy results of 10rds out of my rifle.

I have a new to me 6.5 Creedmoor, so I will repeat the process and see if I get the same results.

Yes, like you, I have shot several boxes of Norma Whitetail from different lots and see no sign of overpressure at all.

Hopefully, Norma Whitetail will group better in your new Creedmoor. Every rifle shakes out differently. I tested Bondstrike also and found it to be pretty consistent in my Sauer. Haven't shot a deer yet with it.

In general, I have found Norma to be one of the better ammunition manufacturers. Not only is their ammunition very consistent, but their online ordering and delivery is very fast and reliable. Just a good experience with a good company and good product all the way around.
