What yall draw? Drew a November 2b deer hunt.

I didn't put in for this year but it's on my list...CO's draw system is tough but without points in NM, would you say that nonresident changes are decent (or even good)?

NM is tough either way. Talking 300,000 applicants for 60k tags (all species combined). As a resident applying for 6 species I strike out half the time.

Drew the same thing I have drawn for about 10-12 yrs, nada. Yet they keep taking my money for a hunting license they KNOW I will never use unless I draw. Odds are pitiful, but not zero. I consider it like the lottery, if I buy enough tix, I will eventually win something

Darn, I suppose with more new hunters (myself included), it is not making it any easier for anyone. Been struggling with that idea where I am both part of the 'problem' but affected by it all the same.

I put in for aoudad and missed again.

Can still do OTC aoudad, there are a few spots outside the draw units. It's tough though, I've seen them but still don't have an otc on the wall.

Dang it, you got my tag...

I struck out for oryx and elk.
Drew my third choice deer for 2nd rifle. Not the best deer unit but a decent opportunity and a chance to hunt NM with my uncle.

I drew the 2B hunt also as well as a Oryx tag in December….. Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick I guess!….

Don't get me started… it's pretty sad when a resident can't get a Deer or Elk tag for years on end… this is the first Deer tag in 8 or 9 years for me…
