New Remington brass

Went to size this new brass and noticed the inside of the necks has a lot of something in it. You guys know what this is?

Try brushing it out? Run it through a tumbler first? Then anneal, then size?

Looks like polishing media.
Those cases are annealed then polished at the factory.
