Looking for a scope to put on Seekins 7mm prc. Big game to 800 yards but mostly long range target shooting. My requirements are tracking, clarity, resolution, low light, illuminated, sfp reticle in that order. Thinking nx8 4-32 , or zeiss LRP, possibly Steiner or trijicon but have heard mixed reports on the steiner. Price range around $2000.

My experience with Steiner has been negative. I won't even consider buying another.

So many good scopes out there these days. For a light weight hunting scope I really like the March Compact 2.5x25x52. The NX8 would probably be my second choice. Tract Toric is awesome for the price and I wouldn't hesitate to get one if weight isn't a concern.

Same here. Had one of the first production runs of the T5Xi. Went back to Steiner 3 times for issues before I finally sold it at a huge loss a year after I purchased it. It was at Steiner more than my house during that year.

Of the choices you listed I'd probably go NF, I have the ffp and like it pretty good but haven't had the chance to put much time behind it. I know nothing about the ziess lrp but usually ziess has good glass But mainly going to say Lance above me has great knowledge on scopes and was very helpful to me a few years back, so I believe what he says. He talked me into a TT and gr8fuldoug got to sale it to me. I've had the pleasure of talking to Doug and some of his workers and they were great at explaining the products and they give you other options as well so I wouldn't hesitate to call camera land about a scope and talk to them.
