Was a tough hunt saw very few deer and was able to get this guy last day of our hunt. Texas Heart Shot less than 100 yard shot.

Which unit/county? We were in Calamus East by the Cedar River. My son was out in the Sandhills there and saw mulies before taking a nice one. I got really cold in my ground blind hunting the river and took a 2.5 year old 4x4 before my pansy CA tail froze

I hunted the unit west of you. Maybe be out there again before end of year. I have a muzzleloader tag to fill as well.
