I am sick and tired of some kid who parks his butt next to me shooting an AK47 with a banana clip. I shoot for accuracy and it takes time to catch my breath and there he goes bang his clip aganst the table top and blowing shells over and over There are times when I could blow my top.
shooting 200 yards has no place for this.
this guy never came close to his taget he just blows ammo.
If you think I am wrong, I an sorry but I shoot very often.
I dont think of shooting as a game, its a sport.

My 7-08 AI XP100 w/Vais brake was very good for creating a 1 bench buffer or more on each side of me.

I have had the same problem more than once, and the cure I found was to shoot a few rounds thru my T/C chambered in .445 Supermag that has a 14" barrel with a brake. The blast in unreal and I usually end up with nobody within twenty feet of me.

I learned to hate AK47's over forty years ago, and still don't think much of one to this very day. But the guy with an AR blowing hot cases on me dosn't impress me very much as well. They don't seem to have enough common sense to go over to the extreme right side of the range.

My 338 Edge always rides to the range with me for just such an occasion......usually seems that those brass spraying guys only have the little foam ear plugs, too.

I always warn anyone nearby (especially those with poor hearing protection) before I touch it off. Usually I get shrugged off until the first shot is fired:D.

Freedom comes with a lot of prices=You like to shoot small groups with minimal interuption and he just wants a little aggretion theropy.
Try being polite first, patient second and informative third=Then bring out the cannons and let the precution blowem off their bench:D
Its great when people just add a little courtasy to the moment. We had just set our targets out to shoot to 750 yards @ the local State land public spot. When we turned around there was a guy parked @ 500 yards=right in the dang way! When we got to his truck he was just getting done setting up 150 yard targets in a different canyon 90 degrees to where we planned to shoot=No problem, I borrowed him my rangefinder so he could set his bench up 100 yards from his targets and we set up with his truck between our muzzles and his bench. Then after makeing sure he had ear protection on we proceeded to shoot to 500 yards instead of 750. He warned us he was going to be shooting his 340 and we laughed as we put the 338Edge on the hood=He got done what he was looking to do and we practiced at 500 for a few rounds then went to 1250 on some rocks.
The biggest bitch I have with some of the blasters is they have a bad habit of bringing a TV,washer, dryer or whatever out=shooting the heck out of it and leaving it for me to take to the dump!

I have had that happen on occasion. Good news is that they usually blow through their ammo pretty quick. I have also found that it isn't that they are inconsiderate, but they don't know any better. Depending on what my shooting plan was, I either wait them out, practice shooting with a distraction, or explain to them that I'm trying to shoot for groups and ask them to give me 10-15 minutes. Most always, they are pretty good about it. I save my hatred for the likes of Diane Frankenstein!:D.

I used to have a neighbor that sold realestate, and she was always giving me old signs to use as targets. 3/4's of the time I was out shooting guys would show up, and I'd just let them have the sign bracket. Probably gave a hundred of them away! I hate the guys that bring cans and glass bottles, and leave their trash for somebody else to pick up.

This is not anything to do about our elected officials it is about free targets.I park old vecheiles, used machinery, washing machines, dryers, stoves, ect, and shoot them to.... ,then crush them with my Cat and haul them to the dump, but I have a farm,so I am lucky.:)
