Here are some pics of my .338 RUM build.

Welcome to LRH, Brian. Nice specs & a good lookin' rig. So give us some info on how she shoots. Any pet loads? Bullets used and actual drop vs. ballistic tables, etc.

I have only done a test firing at this point.
Once the glass arrives I will work out a load and report back.
My first thought is to build a load around the Berger 300 gr Match Hybrid OTM Tactical bullet.
I will probably start at 90g of Retumbo.

I don't need one. But that is just me.
The weight ( of both the gun and the operator) helps a lot.
