I have finally got all of my parts together minus a muzzle brake for my next build.
I have several muzzle brakes but all on smaller caliber rifles... I need advice on the go to muzzle brake for the prc.
Will be 5/8x24 on a proof barrel.
All feedback appreciated!

I tried Ryan Pierce's muscle brake on the last 300 build.

I put this one right there with fat bastard/muzzle brakes n more.

I really like the seamless design of his self timing brake. I would try that one!

Best brake I've ever tried was Kirby's painkiller.
I have one just sitting here waiting for my 300prc improved time be done. Run one on my 300 win mag and .375am. I'm slowly replacing all mine with this style.

Everyone has a favorite right up to the point that try this one

So this looks just like the gamma brake. Almost identical. That's a very good brake I have two of those and have no complaints. That being said they are not as good as the pain killer.

Not even close to the gamma. This is a self timing work of art, that eats more recoil than any brake I have ever seen!

It's side and too vent, the first chamber is designed very differently than a most anything that you have seen I promise. Try one and everything else becomes a classified add.

Terrible video quality but you can still see how well the Painkiller works.

The self timing side vent that isn't a giant knot at the end of the barrel is where live oak Accuracy was going with this design. Pain killer is putting it nicely ugly! And needs a smith to time it correctly? The brake I suggested is side vent self timing and comes in different OD's so it doesn't look like an Apple hanging off a tree limb.

Check there web site they have a video of a 416 Weatherby with and with out a brake.

Agree to disagree about the pain killer being ugly. They give an aggressive look to any rifle and are very potent for size. Hell my small PK brake is the smallest brake on any of my rifle's and is on the most powerful one I own. With that I have a T3 Terminator and a couple of bastard brakes. The PK is easily the lightest of the 4
