my first rifle was a 35 remington then I moved up to a model 760 pump 06
Most common center fire caliber is certainly .308.
Common Cartridge in the world is probably the 308win
Yeah, one of those terms that gets used for the same reason, however most people know what a person is talking about. There are a lot of people that need to google the difference between cartridge and caliber.
6.5 Creedmoor is the most popular rifle cartridge based on sales. Every rifle company now offers a 6.5 Creedmoor. So as a beginner in long range hunting and a small time preppier kind of guy, what do you think the most common caliber in North America is? I know the 223/5.56 is the absolute most popular, but I think either a 300 win mag, or 30-06 Springfield would have to come in close seconds.
