What is the preferred way to mask a muzzle brake for gritblasting (sand blasting)? Ear plugs seem to hold in the threads and the center but they don't stay in the ports very well. Thanks.

The threads are the only thing that need to be protected from the blast media, but if you want the ports to stay shiny inside pack it with play dough and smooth it out on the port openings. back the posit side up while blasting to prevent the air pressure from blowing it out the back side.

It can be removed easy.
