Manners Stock question (crack?)

Just got another PH-A today, and an additional one is on order.
Fine units made by honorable people keeps us coming back.

Manners is great. Call them up. They can fix your cheek piece to allow bolt to be removed when you send it in to get the crack fixed.

Manners replied quickly to my emails and told me to send it back for repairs. They even offered to install the M5 mini chassis (which I accepted) Will be sending it out shortly.

Agreed! I am fortunate to have no shortage of reputable GSs in my area. To me, it is important to establish a good working relationship with your GS. I have been working with my go-to GS since 2003 and have always served me well.

I think we need a post about GS's. The good the bad the ugly. It would be nice to be able to see who some of yall use and have good luck with. I will be making a post about this GS here shortly.

Hi Ryeguy, just saw your thread, I will shoot you a PM with my cell, shoot me a text or give me a call we will get you fixed up asap. That is a crack in the heavy fill, it is hard to say what has happened until I get some more info and picks. Has the barrel action been bedded, on all of are standard inlets, we recommend that the lug and tang be bedded, then make sure that the pillars are relieved so that the action screws do not act like a recoil lug. No matter what everything has a lifetime guaranteed no matter you are the first or last owner. Thank you , talk soon

I had a problem with a Manners stock that I received just before Thanksgiving, several years ago, and burned out his phone on Thanksgiving day. He cheerfully fixed it with a new stock that he made custom by himself, repaired the old stock which I put a different action in. He takes time to make a stock, but guarantees his work.
