Seems like I'm the only guy here that doesn't care for the NX8. Is it horrible? No. Does it leave some performance on the table? Yes.
The eyebox sucks and clarity really falls apart in the top 3x power in the magnification range. I think NF kinda **** the bed with this one, though to their credit, they were trying to push the envelope with an 8x zoom range. The newer NXS and the ATACR are far superior optics (though certainly no lighter). IMO the MK5 is a better optic, and lighter.
