Interesting conundrum. Need input.

8208xbr @ 57.3gr (105% fill) 2,933fps
benchmark @ 55.5gr _103.3 fill) 2,887 fps

according to QL those are at max per powder choices.

I know there's a way to list powder choices along with a + and/or - charge weights, but not sure how to do that yet? Basic values is about all I know how to input. Those I posted are at or as near 58k per 35 wheelen max pressure. Case volume is unknown to what cases you have, but do know how to adjust for that also.

usable @ 59.187 H20 compared to 70.20 of overflow.

This was very very helpful. Thank you. I will be loading tonight and shooting over the weekend. I will let you (and the group) know how it goes.
I wouldn't be able to tell you how far below those max pressure marks that QL puts out to start with. I've used QL for comparing Nosler, Speer, Hornady and others and all were over pressured by as much as 15k and as little as 2k. That's what kinda scares me about QL. I was hoping someone else would chime in to help and maybe give better info. Be safe!

All loaded up with A-2460. I'll let y'all know how it goes.

On the #6 post coal us longer (3.231") and case trimmed at 2.484". I guess the combo of shorter case and coal is a tad longer gives an extra grain in capacity. With 3 powders you have are listed in the data, so that makes it more helpful than mine.

So, the range trip.wemt really well. Here are the results. From a velocity perspective. I ran the charge up.passed the recommended max, but also had bullets seated out further than the book said. I only shot 3 rounds of the same charge for accuracy, and they shot sub 1MOA.
57gr - 2899 fps
57.5- 2869 fps
58 gr- 2902 fps
58.5 gr- 2947 fps
59 gr - 2963 fps
59.5 (x3) 2962, 2968, 2975 fps
60 gr- 2951fps
60.5 gr- 3007 fps
61 gr- 3025 fps
61.5 gr 3050 fps

The rifle is a break action single shot, so the only indications of pressure there really might be would be flattened primers, and difficult extraction. I didn't get flattened primers until 60 grains (not severe) a d never ran into any issues with pulling the rounds out of the chamber easily with two fingers. Because I didn't see much improvement in velocity at the higher charges (90fps over 2 full grains) and because the powder is a little temp sensitive, I think I'm going tonwork on developing the load around 59.5, and work a few te ths on each side of that. Very pleased and thanks for the help!
