So I did a little more load development with my 260 AI and the 143 grain. Shot from a 30" tube using H-4831 powder.

48.6 grains:
1. 2,966
2. 2,981
3. 2,977
4. 2,974
5. 2,956
Average: 2,970
Extreme Spread: 25
4 of the 5 were .475" ctc, with one shot opening it up to 1.175"

48.8 grains:
1. 2,993
2. 2,982
3. 3,017
4. 2,967
5. 2,946
Average: 2,981
Extreme Spread: 71
Again, 4 of the 5 were .422 ctc with one opening it up to 1.252

49 grains:
1. 3,019
2. 2,995
3. 3,023
4. 3,003
5. 3,005
Average: 3,009
Extreme Spread: 24
This group was 1.232", not very good

49.2 grains:
1. 3,008
2. 2,999
3. 3,013
4. 3,020
5. 3,002
Average: 3,008
Extreme Spread: 21
3 of these were .179 ctc, with the other two touching opening the group to .865

I just hope i'm not going to be waiting till summer. As soon as they were available in midway's system I backordered some back in November. I expected to wait about till March, hopefully its not April!!

The 7mm has been out in limited numbers I think, unless this guy has a hookup through Hornady:

Best of the West isn't buying them off the shelf. I'm sure they got a bunch so Hornady could get some data out there in videos just like that one.

What primer are you using Cody?

Standard cci large rifle primer, remington .243 brass resized fire formed and sorted, and every charge was weighed.

I was until I got an email today.They shipped me bullets instead of ammo and now I have to wait to receive them,ship them back,and wait for my refund.They don't have the ammo in stock like they advertised.Great.
