Would anybody mind reading through the 114 pages of the Hornady ELD-X Official Thread and providing us with a Cliffs Notes version? :D

Sarcasm aside, I did just order some and am looking forward to my own testing.

The Engineering and Marketing departments worked together and developed a strategy to sell some bullets.

Im an engineer who travels with sales people to male sure our solutions work as intended and fulfill the needs that the customers want. So I understand the value of engineers being involved in the sales process!

Thanks!

Accuracy is good,
BCs are accurate,
and the 6.5 bullet diameter is suspected by a few, to be on the large side...gun)

the 143 eld-x works very well in my last 6.5x55. shoots as well as 142 SMK,
and as this eld-x is a hunting bullet, was happy to see this.

The 143's shoot very well in my 6.5 SS (some of the best groups I have shot). The downside is the lot I have is definitely over size .2642-.2643, and is causing pressure issues in my 6.5 Sherman which has a tighter throat and bore. They also expand very well at low velocities. They do seem to copper foul a little more than normal....Rich

And the tips melt in their mouths, not in the air:D
