Hornady A-MAx Bullets - any good for hunting?

I know this is an older thread, but has anyone used A-Max for Hog? I have some 168's I'd like to try from a .30-06 and a 300 WM. So far from the .30-06 the accuracy has been impressive. Just wanted to make sure they are quick killers. From the previous posts it seems that it would not be an issue.
Sandbar782: I've killed numerous hogs the last couple years with the .308 168 grain A-Max with perfect results, all DRT. Some head, neck and boiler room shots, all with the same results. Great accuracy/trajectory out to the 200 yds I tend to shoot. Devastating damage although the bullets seems to frag pretty good when hitting solid bone. I found some bullet fragments in my brats this year so just be careful to cut away any damaged meat. Good hunting!
