Help decide new rifle for brother

My brother is looking at getting a new rifle and has it narrowed down to savage 116 with accustock or Weatherby Vanguard wilderness which has a nice bc stock just wanted peoples opinion on which rifle he should get thank you.

Either one will work, but the savage might be easier to change barrels or caliber later on

Go with the vangaurd I have two of them and both of them shoot as good as any factory rifle made and the are a good platform to build off of.

I'd go with savage. But I've had a bad experience with a howa 1500 which is who makes the vanguard. Legacy sports is the importer and had issues with them. Took 10 months to get a rifle back for repair and was still not right.
