Looks like some hacker has invaded our web site.

I see Len is blocking/deleting some of them but cant keep up with them so it looks like until he can get it under control, we just cant open first post or very low post count post.

Very sad that this kind of crap happens.

Yep, I had 1 issue with this site last year (attempted malware pop-ups), and I contacted Len, and he responded back quickly that they had found the problem was with the server, and were fixing it. The Harley forum I'm a member of keeps giving pop-up problems (same thing as what happened on here last year), but the idiots on there keep telling me it's my machine with the problem... Funny thing is, I never go to any sketchy or unknown sites, and I keep my machine in tip-top condition. Also, it only does it on THEIR site...And when I close-out their site, I don't have any other problems... And my malware detector finds nothing on my machine. Even downloaded a 2nd one and it found nothing. So, maybe they'll do some more researching into it and figure out what's going on.

A lot of us on there are also pro-2A and gun owners and Trump supporters, so we figure it's Obummer and Hitlary's goons screwing with the site.

Don't take the bait. I usually place my cursor on the thread title and read the intro to the thread and if it looks suspicious I don't open it. I had a notification pop up that a virus had been detected and eliminated yesterday on my PC, I have no idea where that came from.

We have intermittent satellite internet connection in Camp and I think we made a mistake in the moderating software that helps us control the spam including the p*** portion of spam but I have fixed it now

Again thanks to all for helping keep this site so civil over a 15-year period

Being up here in the mountains for almost three weeks has been a huge treat again this year I had a chance to backpack in the Tetons three times in between classes

I will post pictures and stories when I find time upon my return. so far 85 miles on foot over three separate backpacking trips to the Tetons
