First Muzzleloader Hunt

Well, off on my first muzzleloader hunt next week. We are hunting in Colorado.

The primary hunt is mule deer. I was able to get a 2nd choice cow tag and 2nd choice bear tag. I think all the bases are covered as long as the critters show up!

Up until this year, I had not shot a muzzleloader since I was a teenager. 25ish years later, here we go! I decided to hunt with a .54 cal TC Hawkin I inherited from my dad. I hope I get to share a success picture, or 2, or 3.

The season opens tomorrow but we aren't headed out until Sunday.

No idea. I asked her and she said it just looks like a Steve. Trying to decipher the mind of an 8 year old is a daily challenge
