Defiance Rebel 280 Ackley

Settled on 168gr Berger Classic Hunters over 58.0grs RL26, does around 2810 fps and shoots half moa if I do my part. I have lately been shooting the 160gr Nosler Accubond, looks like my load will be 60.0grs RL26 does 2956 fps from the 22.5" barrel and accuracy is as good as the Bergers

578 yards. Corrected the 2.5moa for the estimated 7mph wind. Was pretty close, minute of moose ribs!

I'm running the same idea here in the woods for whitetails. Pre-64 with a #4 fluted Lilja. 22''/10 twist. It really likes the 150ttsx and loves the 150 LRAB. rl26 a little better groups than 4831sc... I'm moving so have to settle with this for now. I'll stick with the mono's for elk '19 hopefully! It didn't like any of the hornady stuff and 140 bergers were very good just not my cup of tea. No chrono data. Thats my next part to explore...
