A gents V2 I worked on and did some load development on. 150 yards.

V2 from the very first picture post. Only open sights with a 250gr Thor, 100gr BH209 and a 30ish yard shot.

Exit side

Thick chunk of meat was found a good 10-15 yards behind the deer where the bullet ripped/pulled it out.

250gr thors @ 150 yards with 100gr bh209

My brother and his v2 at 160 yards with 260gr harvester scorpion pt gold, crush rib sabot, 110gr bh209.

245gr powerbelt aerotip at 100 yards 100gr bh209

.500" Hornady FTX 300gr 90gr BH209, Standard CCI Primers

Awesome shooting black horn seems to the #1 propellant used today. I'll be ordering my gun from muzzloader.com when I order it can I ask them for the bh breach plug or do I have to order it seperatly. I'm going to be buying the accura v2 long range. I'll post pics and a review on it when I get it.

the BH209 plug will cost you an extra $20-27 but is highly recommended for shooting bh209.

Man I've been reading up o. Those thors bullets and man do they look awesome. They look like the Hornady fpb bullets. I was going to try the power belts but these look they could handle a magnum charge way better. They almost look identical to to a barns bullet and mushroom the same as a Barnes. What is the difference between the two.

Thors are a full bore diameter conical bullet like powerbelt/FPB only they are 100% copper. Barnes actually makes them for Thor. Just a heads up, but order fast. They normally sell out of stock by early to mid august.

Only qualm about the V2 - I wish there was a sling stud on the bottom of the forend instead of the front. Can't mount bipod.

Not at all hard to add your own.

Really, didn't know this. Lord knows I've been spending too much time on Brownell's site too. Just in the wrong areas I guess. Headed there now to find it.
