Ordered a carbon six, had a question about the order, no reply to calls or emails. Anyone else having this issue? I know these places are busy but 4 calls and 2 emails over 3 weeks? Filing a fraud complaint with the CC company. They've left me no choice.

It has been two years since I ordered mine, and the CS has been excellent. I do not know what's going on, but "you" have to do what you think is best for "you," and sorry you are having this issue.

There's another thread on here about them with several hundred replies, some good experience but mostly bad. Dramatically understated lead times and unresponsive customer service seems to be common. McGowan, their sister company, is the same way.

I see them at outdoor shows offering lead times of 2 MONTHS if ordered and paid for at the show.

How long ago? Apparently things have changed. Also, if you run a business selling things that are used for "deer season" and, are backed up for months with orders, you can afford to hire someone to handle calls, emails and orders. Having said that, I do understand ppl are busy but over 3 weeks with no reply? 3 days is too long. They can't make my barrel without dummy rounds due to custom chamber. That's the reason for the emails and calls. I need to clarify a couple things which is the reason I was trying to reach them. Now the already long wait for the barrel is extended every day they don't respond. I just don't get it.

So, I've heard from several people including one of my best friends, 2 years ago these issues weren't there. I didn't know ppl were having problems now or I would've ordered elsewhere. My friend bought a 6mm creed barrel from them 2 years ago, it showed up with a messed up chamber, they took it and said they fixed it but it came back again with issues, after that they sent him a new barrel and refunded his money so he got a free barrel. The free barrel shoots great so because of that I chose to order there. Apparently things have changed.

I ordered one over Black Friday. I requested a special freebore in the comments. They responded Monday telling me to give Gene a call. I called him and spent 15 minutes or so just BSing on the phone. Seems like a good company to me? Online it think it says 4-6 months lead time. Guess I'll find out in May if they're any good.

Odd. I can't get them to return a call or email.

Gene told me to email the customer service email back to let them know I was going to send in dummy rds. They didn't respond. He also told me the delay was due to getting barrels from McGowan. Said they have a new way they're cutting rifling and things should be speeding up here shortly?

Had an accuracy issue with a 300WM barrel and based on the circumstances I didn't really expect much from Carbon Six, but as a last ditch effort I reached out to them. Gene spent nearly an hour on the phone with me, identified the exact barrel order that had been made years earlier, I sent it in, they couldn't find anything obviously wrong with it but have agreed to make it right in short order. Nothing but positive to say about Carbon Six at this point and they will be my go-to for future builds.

mine showed up 183 days from date of order, but that's been 3 years ago almost.
