Bog tripod deathgrip help

Good morning everyone. Hey question for you guys with the deathgrip head. The screw that tightens and loosens the deathgrip has that, I'm going to call it wheel you grab to turn. What is holding that on on your guys? Is that a screw or small drift pin? Mine has fallen out and the hole doesn't look threaded in the wheel, not that I couldn't tread it but was wondering if from the factory those were just drift pins or what.thanks guys!!

Mine is secured with a tiny set screw. It can be tightened with an allen key.
