Guys,
Most all of us have a couple of smoker groups hanging on the shop/reloading room wall. I was interested in the gun details and accuracy levels of some of the other members. I have posted my best big gun group. It is 338 Edge, 300 gr SMK @ 2921 fps, shot at 300 yards. It was a customers gun and I was lucky enough to have him there during initial test firing. Hope to see performance levels of other members.

After looking a few of the groups already posted I believe I'll just keep my groups to myself!!

Fine shooting... and good accuracy all around.

(A crow... shot in the head... at 870 meters!! YEOW fine shooting.)

Yes, Dave, but he was aiming at the shoulder! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Reminds me of a movie I saw Burt Lancaster in! He shot at this outlaw at about 1000 yds. with a Sharps; cut 'em smooth outa the saddle! His buddy says...."nice shot"! Burt says..."I's shootin at the horse"!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

This is certainly not a "group" to brag to, so I humbly submit that my best two groups are a .068 3-shot group at 100 yds from a bench, the other a 2.55 from 650 yds off a bipod. Both were shot with a Cooper 22-250 and 52 gr JLK LD bullets.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Is this the movie?

Back on topic

I've been thinking about trying to get the tqrgets from the F-Class shoots. My last match I shot a 200-17X at 600 with my 308... I'm thinking that's 17 of 20 easily inside 6" at 600 yards--- coulda been a lot smaller but I didn't fetch the target face.

Mine are pretty ho-hum compared with many here, but my rifle is a lightweight hunting rifle with factory barrel/stock/bedding, etc. Anyway, here are a couple of my better ones:

Both from 400 yds resting over the hood of my TB. The first is 2 3/4" the second is 2 1/2". The gong is one foot square.

Dave,

I shot my first F-Class match with Michael E. this summer, quite a lot of fun it was too.

If you count the single sighter I fired, I scored 200-17X at 600 yards, really it was 200-16X though, as the sighter don't count, so you have me beat... and I was using the 30/338 Lapua Imp.

Michael, how come your F-Class score wasn't in there too?

Fired 3 shots in .020" at 100 yards once.

Fired 3 into .150" at 300, 1.15" at 400 and .960" at 500 yards back to back one day getting drop dope.

Fired 3 in 15.5" at 1515 yards.... once, a hair high POI though.

Rifle's 27 lbs., usually fired prone off my pack.
