so i just got a remington sendero 300 win mag (my first 300) and i have been reading on some of the performance from different bullets,, what are some that yall are using with success. shot ranges will be sub 400 yds.

Literally any bullet out of a 300 win will work on deer out to 400 yards.

If you hand load I would recommend the 166 grain hammer hunter. That's what I load in mine. I haven't used factory ammo in mine. Now I have used 178 eld x,185 classic hunters and 152 grain hammer hunters in my 300 wsm with good success I'm sure they will work fine in 300 wm as well
im going to start with Barnes TTSX 180's and hope they shoot well, i shoot these out of my 308 waypoint and like them.

You can literally use old Remington core-lokt and it will still be way more than needed.
I have read a bunch on the classic hunters,, but from reading exit holes are few and far between.
I have taken probably 50 deer or deer sized critters at ranges from 30 to just over 300 yards with my 30-06, 4831 and the Sierra 180 SPBT in my lifetime. I used the Nosler 180 partition in Africa but in retrospect, i really didn't need to. The Sierras would have worked just fine.
Actually to 500 yards if you like Barnes the 130gr TTSX is fantastic. We have run it in the 300Bee for deer and lopes. A little less recoil, great wound channel without a ton of bruising and it's a frozen rope out to 400 yards.

I have a REM 700 Sendero SF2 in 300 WM. I run 190 grn Nosler ABLRs at 2950 fps. Took a cow elk this year at 418 yards.

I shoot the 210 ABLR for DRT performance and great accuracy. There are other great bullets, but I have found no reason to change (have shot Berger, A Max, Sierra Game Kings, Hammers and Barnes) but keep coming back to the tried and true ABLR.
