So here is some close up pics. They look the same but my eyes are not what they use to be. I understand now what you saying though. 215 left 208 right
Very difficult to see in those pics but you can see the 208 meplat looks "rolled" for lack of better term. All of the LRHTs are this way. As I think you have seen it does not seem to affect the expansion and terminal performance. I appreciate your sharing the experiences. I am gaining confidence in them as hunting bullets.
I actually just got MCR's meplat trimmers and uniformers a couple weeks ago.
All I know is I have 700 of the 208's now and I will use them up until the 215's come back around

Ok I see it now in that pic. That helps. After seeing that I looked at all these bullets and I see what your talking about. Well I guess it really didn't affect the expansion of them.
I initially had my concerns but we are finding it has no negative effect.
I'm good at that lol. It's actually my truck gun for the next couple months. A little over kill but that's when I generally see critters is riding in the truck.

Great comparison of the 2. There are a few people on Rokslide that confirmed they expanded well too. I am also gaining some confidence in them as a hunting bullet. I have 200 of them, might try to order more if I can ever find them again

Last werk when I ordered from Scopelist they had 4 boxes available, I just grabbed 2.
No. Not enough animals under my belt and not far enough away. The more threads/posts I see like this one the more we will know. We will try to get a longer shot on a doe whitetail next week.
