Hello everyone,

Can you all that have experience with either of these bullets let me know what your experience is with them on game? I'm having a 25 Creedmoor built for my son with a 7 twist barrel and we are trying to decide which one we want to go with.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
Steve

We killed 5 animals with the 135 LRHT and the 25 creedmoor last year. 220 yard pronghorn doe, 325 yard pronghorn doe, 325 yard mature mule deer, 495 yard pronghorn buck, 690 yard mature mule deer buck. The bullets performed as expected. The only exit wounds were on the 325 yard doe shot through the lungs with a baseball sized exit, and the 690 mule deer which had two of the shots exit. The others went through shoulder and exploded inside. The 690 was in retrospect too far for my abilities at the time with the first shot low through the arm and brisket, second shot liver and lung. I did clean out and slightly open the tips on these with a wire bit. My creedmoor MV is 2820 fps. I will be shooting them again this year from a 25-284. I've got a couple thousand of these bullets and didn't have a reason to try the 133s yet. I'd use whatever you can get ahold of enough to last the barrel.

I have been talking with Lance via text A LOT. Sorry Lance. :oops: He has been a great source of knowledge for many of my questions.

He is an amazing guy!

Just would like to hear some other experiences and thoughts.

Thanks All!

I've got several hundred of the 133 and 135s for my 25-284. I will put them to use this coming fall on some LR deer kills. Looking forward to the 135s and seeing how they perform. I'll post my results in December. I'm sure many more will show up before mine do.

@VLD Pilot
So you will start with the 135 vs the 133? That because of BC advantage or ?

Thanks
More because I prefer the match type bullet for deer where I prefer hitting them (rib cage/lungs). The bullets do more internal damage while still exiting the animal. Exit wounds are huge as is destruction to lungs. Deer literally drop on contact with hits in the mid rib area when I use Amax bullets which are my favorite deer bullet for LR kills. I'm hoping the 135s will be as effective. Fast impact velocity combined with very frangible bullets seem to cause this effect of the deer dropping immediately after the impact. Typically my shots are inside of 500 yards but even at 700-800 the effect is the same if hit in the ribs. Very effective killing bullets on deer. Wouldn't even consider them on bigger hooved species.
