Im looking into the FUNCTIONAL value of older Sako rifles, would much appreciate any well versed persons advice or knowledge. thanks much!

Notoriously accurate, Finnbears and Foresters, If in good to excellent shape, they are great shooters - well below moa even with factory ammo. Since they can be over 60yrs old now, the fast ones can possibly be shot out: 25-06 and .264 in particular. Had experience with a 25-06 once that was and another that would shoot sub .5 moa with several factory loads. First rifle I ever bought was a .264 Finnbear (paper route money) and it would shoot .5 moa with 100s or 140s for someone 15yrs old that didn't really know what they were doing. No experience with the Finnwolf, but always wanted one.

I've never seen one that didn't shoot accurately, and have high quality fit and finish. I have an old Ithaca/Tikka (made before the merger of sako and tikka) that outshoots most of my modern rifles.
