@skipglo, here's my friend's ballistic gel test on the 175 DRT terminal shock copper bullet out of his .308 Win. The impact velocity was 2426 FPS.

It looks awe-inspiring to me. I am looking forward to my friend's next ballistic gel test with the .300 Winny.

That looks like it makes a mess to me.
Did he report if it was pieces of metal like petals of because it is compressed is it more splatter? Hard to tell from the pictures of at the end of the trail is a pc of metal or just some leftover separated material.
I like that pattern or should I say how many channels you can see.
