I've had great success with ADG. In a 338 Edge years ago and a 338 MAX I'm setting up right now. I'd say the same for 338 SS but I couldn't reach the velocity I wanted so abandoned it and rechambered to 338 MAX.

Incidentally I have a 338 SS "std" reamer I used once and I'll part with it for the right price and or trade

I've had no issues with saum brass other than primer pockets were so tight they had to be uniformed just to seat a primer.

I wish it was consistently like yours. Sounds like that's minimum spec.
I was getting excessive growth at the pressure ring about 300fps under a reasonable max, along with mushy pockets.

I have 7 SAUM ADG brass and no issues. These were from a purchase from last year or so.

I just got 2 boxes today of adg brass..I'll open one up soon and measure it all out and compare to my Peterson "basic brass" I made and nosler brass

I have ADG brass in 7PRC That came 2 thousand out of round in neck thickness. I use a mandrel on it also. Otherwise its good brass, not all are like that, maybe15 to 18%. And it isn't cheap!
I still put Lapua on top, Peterson number 2. All others a distant third.
In my opinion it should have been caught before shipping. Maybe they just randomly test and missed some. Have no idea their QA-QC method.

I have a similar experience with ADG (7MM SAUM), Peterson (.280 Rem), and Lapua (.338 NM). The Lapua had a couple with brass shavings. But I never made it a big deal because I fully understand the QC-QA methodologies on high-volume automated manufacturing. I do 100% visual inspection of all my brass (virgin or not, and regardless of brand or price point) as part of my prep and fix as required. But that's me, and as @Rick Richard says ...

I have ADG brass in 7 PRC and 6.5 SAUM with up to 5 loading with no issues. I don't tend to run hot loads but that's only because I tend to get better ES/SD and groups with hunting contours when I'm not pushing hard. As with most things in reloading YMMV.

A brand new piece of ADG I charged a few weeks ago, from a very recent lot, had so much loose brass inside the case body that my very modest fire-forming load almost would not fit. It was a long sliver, could not be removed. QC and consistency are impossible to predict but we are all alone when we discover that we've spent premium money on discount production.
Like many other occurrences these days..

The one mentioned above is a totally different cartridge than the one with robber pockets and excessive .200 line movement by the way.

I forgot to add, the primer pockets are shallow in my prc ADG brass to the point the primer sits .002 above the case head. I get to uniform the depth too.

I wish I had the option, that is some tough and consistent stuff in my experience.
Ready to see what the future holds for a couple of mine, in options.
And thankful I have an ample supply from good lots in all but one so far.
