My ADG 7prc has almost .002" neck wall thickness variation, forcing me to use a mandrel after neck sizing.
My Nosler stw brass varies .0005" and never saw a mandrel. And I didn't have to debur and chamfer.

I have seen pockets loose after 1 mild firing. Not good.

Seems to be SAUM and WSM based Sherman's for sure.
2nd time for some of the SS cases.

ADG assumes it is ok to make changes as they go, it appears.
It's not worth a flip….with the cost. But…it has given birth to something more exciting.

Thanks for your reply. I have bought lapua and alpha but for certain cartridges, I have been considering ADG and Peterson for cases that lapua and alpha do not make.

My experience with 7STW's was the opposite with Nosler, loose pockets after 2 firings.
My ADG brass in 28 Nosler running hot, are now on 7th firings. Wish my barrel held up as well as ADG brass.

I have ADG brass in 7PRC That came 2 thousand out of round in neck thickness. I use a mandrel on it also. Otherwise its good brass, not all are like that, maybe15 to 18%. And it isn't cheap!
I still put Lapua on top, Peterson number 2. All others a distant third.
In my opinion it should have been caught before shipping. Maybe they just randomly test and missed some. Have no idea their QA-QC method.

It was all top quality at one time, no questions asked. ADG.
I've got experience with Peterson in 280AI and 7PRC, Lapua can be no better, simply put.

I'd heard great reviews here on the forum, that's why I went with ADG. I think the rush to get products out is hurting them in QC.
Had a bag of Hornadys brass from a friend when I first got the 7 PRC. It shot ok, but I'm not a fan of their brass so I jumped on the ADG. Out of the 150 I bought most are great. On third firing, the out of round stuff is in a bag under the bench. I just can't throw anything away.
I sold the neck turning tool I had couple of years ago. Kinda wish I had it back.

I'm not sure about the alloy test results of the latest problem batch, but I know the primer pockets were averaging the upper spec number. F-Class guys have been killing it with the 7Max, I heard they might've gone to Norma SAUM brass after the ADG problem became apparent. Not sure.
ADG offered 5,000 pieces to replace the 40,000 pieces of the bad lot. Isn't that comforting to know?
