7 saum load data for 162 & 175 eldx

Lots of great info here. I'm starting my 7 SAUM build now. Wanting to stay on SA (less than 3.0" COAL). What are your COAL's to the lands with the 162" ELDX? Sammi or custom freebore? Thanks

You can use the 175eldx or 180 eldm with a Saami chamber If you can load to 3.0"
And I would highly recommend the 180eldm in particular

227 th free bore. It's roughly 10-15 th jump to lands with the 175 eld X. The 162 eld X is basically the same.
it also work really nicely for the 160 NP 160 accubond and the 175 lrab. Those bullets o give is very close.


I will have to get back to you on overal length and give measurement. I'm building on a tikka magnum action. No worries on clip space here.

I've shot a bunch of 175 ELD-X in SAAMI chambers. They run great at 2.220 CBTO, which is around 2.915".

10-15 thousandths off the lans
The newest batch I actually load to 2.94, I think they made the bullet slightly longer and a little thicker jacket with the release of the 7PRC

Mine is a proof prefit, I believe it is Saami. Here is approximate COAL where bullets touched the lands:
162eldm at 2.938
180eldm was 2.988
180vld-h was 2.985
195EOL went 3.070

with this custom reamer.
