hey guys, kinda new here, been a member for awhile but dont post much. im having a 6mm creedmoor built and looking for some reloading advice. most likely going to start with h4350 powder, but have heard of others having good luck with h1000 as well as rl26? will be shooting 108gr eldm. any help is appreciated thanks!

H4350 is my choice in my 24" 1:7.5" 6CM w. 105 Hybrids and 101 Hammers. I get 3107 from my every day loads w. 105s ES 9, SD 4.1, and 3200 w my hot hunting loads. 3180 w. Hammers.

I have shot the 105 Hybrids out to 1500 so far with excellent results.

Lapua SRP brass
Fed GM205M
H4350
105 Berger Hybrid or 101 Hammer Hunter

Holds hotter charges better so pockets don't loosen up as fast. In my opinion, the best reason for a hunting rifle.

If you're going to use it in cold temperatures, go with the large primer. There have been reports of small primer loads having hang fire or no fire problems.

Any on game experience with the 101 Hammer Hunter? Preferably deer size animals.

You might also consider RE23. Burn rate works well with these cases.

Reloader 26
Federal 205s
108s or 115 dtacs.

3050-3100 with the 108a
2950-3000 with the dtacs.

RL26 is a tad bit more temp sensitive than H4350 above 80 degrees.

Went shooting this morning in 20mph winds.
Rechronoed the 105 Hybrids now that I have 175 rounds down the barrel. It has sped up a bit, but still shooting lights out. 3107fps average with my lighter loads. I will take that in 20mph winds any day.

Here's what I have been running:

6mm Creedmoor
24" Bartlein 1:8 twist, .183 freebore
Berger 105 Hybrids
Hornady Brass
CCI BR-2 primers
42.2 grains H4350 powder

Trim length of brass1.915
OAL 2.215 base to ogive

I'm getting 3060 fps, ES 18, SD 7.8
