6mm creedmoor advice

Yes I am running 7 twist and 105 hybrids. Had shot H4350 for a long time buy RL-16 is better in my rifles. I just built one on a old Savage Single Shot action and it is scary accurate. What a fun cartridge. Winter has not given up here yet so got to have something indoors to do.

Mine is a 1:7.5". 3101fps w. 105 Hyb in my every day load. I can get 3200 with my 105 Hybrid hunting load. 3180 w. 101 HH (which actually weigh 102.5gr).

Looking at running 108gr eldm with reloader 26, what's a good powder charge and seating depth to start at? Thinking .020 off the lands, but cant find much info on reloader 26 for the 6cm.

Start at 40.0 and work up. There is a node at about 3050 fps It will be easy to get to a compressed charge with RL-26. It is slower than H-1000 according to my Hornady burn chart. I doubt you will hit much pressure. My 6 CM sure likes it but it is a little slow. I get better velocity with RL-23 or RL-16.

H4350 is my choice in my 24" 1:7.5" 6CM w. 105 Hybrids and 101 Hammers. I get 3107 from my every day loads w. 105s ES 9, SD 4.1, and 3200 w my hot hunting loads. 3180 w. Hammers.

I have shot the 105 Hybrids out to 1500 so far with excellent results.

Lapua SRP brass
Fed GM205M
H4350
105 Berger Hybrid or 101 Hammer Hunter
Just wondering what side of 42gr you're sitting on?

I love my 6 CM!! It has become my favorite rifle to shoot. I shoot the 115 Berger Hunting VLDs over H4350, Lapua SRP brass and Br-4 primers. My barrel is a 1-7 twist and I am getting 2976fps with a 24" barrel.
