These are factory loads. Federal 168 Sierra. Once these are gone I will reload. Planning on the same bullet with Varget powder.

I think Sierra makes great bullets. Their 69 grain SMK has to be one of the best .223 bullets ever made. ADI ( used to be Australian Outback ) puts out a factory load that my Savage 12 LRPV just loves.

The 168's are great, but when you can, give the 155 Palma type bullets a try. Also and especially at longer ranges, the 175-178 bullets do very well also. I love Sierra bullets and competed a long time using them, but some rifles actually shot better groups with other brands and styles. Currently, one of my heavy barrel 308's performs exceptionally well at 600yds with 155gr Hornadys in both the old AMAX and the ELDM.

I was finally able to get time and set up for 600 yards. I was using a plastic chair and the tailgate on a side by side as the bench. Hit 8 of my 10 on a 16" plate. Gun was a Remington 700 SPS in 308. View attachment 548622
