Well I had it posted for sale for quite awhile, I may keep it now I finally foot to do some heavier bullet tinkering. I just loaded up mild loads of several powders I have. Berger 105 VLD's 3 shots at 105 yards. Peterson brass and 30 year old CCI BR2's. Racing darkness and fighting fog but it's a step in the right direction. A couple powders show promise to take out to 500 yards in better conditions. To the pros out there what's next to tighten things up chase some velocity or play with seating depths?? I'm just off lands. I usually seat bullets with lands then turn seater stem 1/4 turn. Not micrometer just hornady cheapo's.

You have some good results there. I like to use H4350 myself.

What twist is the barrel and how long is the barrel?

I use a method that my good friend @Jud96 uses and I get really good results. I would run h4350 and do some powder charge testing in .2 grain increments, 2 shots per charge, on a linear plane to look for a point where the poi is the same over multiple charges. Take the middle one and shoot for groups over the chrono and see if the flat spot in poi matches a flat spot in velocity. If your groups look good the do the same process but with seating depth.

I love my 6 creeds. They're very easy to work with and I use h4350 in both of them

H4350 might/might not work better because of barrel length. I think OAL is where you need to be tweaking. If it were me, I would start playing with seating depth. With nearly everything, starting at .020 off the lands and then testing deeper is going to give you better results. When you move the bullet in, only go about .003 each time. It's very easy to miss a node if you go more than that with each step.

I actually called the flier on the H4831 group I just didn't realize it would be so tight when I felt the gun shift. The first 2 shots I was like there's no way there's a perfect 2 hole group I just assumed with the fog I couldn't see the other hole, pleasantly surprised with that group

Seating depth for sure. Reloder 16 is a good powder if ya have it. I burn H4350 because it's the easy button and I could get my hands on a few lbs. I also switched to Srp's because they are much easier to find.

I like the 4831 myself, If it was me I would load up 30 rounds and see how it does at distinct. I like 600 yards myself and see how it will group at that range before I would do any tinkering. The more I get into shooting long range the more I have found out that the nut behind the gun has a lot to do with the groups you produce, (speak for myself). You have 2 really good groups to start with 4831,4350.
Send it.

Oh yes I can really screw up a group!!!!! Just add coffee and bacon for breakfast!

All I can say is I had my best day ever shooting today!!! I loaded up some 105 bergers on top of 40 grains of IMR 4350 and took it to the range where I could stretch it out a bit! I was confident enough with the rifle's capabilities I used hornady ballistic app and sent some slugs down range starting at 500 yards! Then my last 2 loads I sent to 600 yards! Overcast skies and the occasional snowflakes were falling straight down!! Gonna start the hunt for 1000 yards! The last 2 pics are 2 shots at 600 yard gong. I thought somehow I missed even tho I heard the impact then looked closely and noticed 2 divots almost touching each other. This was very fun compared to my usual 100 yard paper punching or 200 yard gongs off my deck!!!
