Hey guys,
I live in a shotgun zone that you can use a shotgun, muzzleloader, or pistol under 26 inches for deer. I recently built a 6.8 spc pistol for deer with the entire length being 25.5 inches and a 8.5 inch barrel. (I already sent pictures and emailed the DNR to make sure it is 100 percent legal). My shots won't be more than 50 yards so any bullet would probably do but what would you guys recommend for a short barreled 6.8 on deer? I love the SSTs in my other rifles but have a feeling they will be moving too slow with the short barrel to get the typical damage. Not even sure I will use it over my muzzleloader but like the option.
Thanks
