350Legend scope

Guys living in IL I can only use a few straight wall calibers and 350L is one of them for deer hunting. I want to buy a scope for this and I see Vortex crossfire 2 straight wall BDC scope.

Does anyone know what makes straight wall cartriges so special that it deserves a straight wall scope ? What if I just buy a regular Vortex crossfire 2 (and not the straight wall version ).

The "Straight Wall" refers to the BDC reticle. It is presumably calibrated for hold overs for lower B.C. and velocity trajectories.

The straight wall version has a BDC reticle that matches up well with most straight wall cartridges. It's the same otherwise. If you want a BDC it's probably your best option. Otherwise pick whatever reticle you like

Just for marketing, I mean they'll work pretty close as advertised. But you can put any scope you want on it. I actually have a Leupold VX5HD firedot on mine

Ya I don't like them because to
Much relays on the right speed and weight bullet for the drops to work. I run a vortex 2-10 on mine and love it.
