yak,

Welcome aboard.

Good post 'cept for the '3'?:)

I'm beginning to think from posts like yours that the 338 RUM and most probably the Lapua will work with about any powder in that burn rate range.

I've used US-869 and settled on H-50BMG for the Hybrids.

Angus-5024, "300 SMK @ 2785 fps with 93 grains Retumbo" What barrel length were you shooting to get 2785fps. I have a 27' Pac-nor barrel on a 338 rum that I should get from my gunsmith next week. Just wondering what to expect in terms of velocity with 300g bullets.
Thanks

Thats with a 26" factory Remmy XCR. I was please that I beat my hopes of 2750fps. I would hope that you would get a little better, but if not thats still good velocity.
