When I was younger I was always so proud of my one-shot kills (made 19 on one safari ) now I have learned the stitches a taxidermist makes in a hide are cheap compared to the stitches a surgeon makes in my skin...I stay in the gun and double tap most everything. There is just too much hydrostatic shock potential to the CNS of game to take a quick drop for dead. Today, 12/26 I watched John Porter on BOTW do just that to his 890 Y + or - moose kill...oops "harvest"...double tap Hell it must be good the Mafia triple taps on their contracts and the Mexican drug cartels spray paint one another.
