Ive been hand loading for my 340 Weatherby and have obtained a very good load for it.
I ran out of 338 interbond bullets (225gr,) and bought another box with a different lot #.
My groups went from .750 to 3.50 at 200 yards.
Every thing else is the same temp wind, same lot of primer, brass, and jug of powder.
I tried Nosler partition also along with sever types of boat bullets which it will not stabilize at 100 or 200 yards.
The box of bullets that shoot well are in an older box and sold for 20.00 so I know they manufactured years apart.
Any ideas on a good flat base spire point bullet.
